Your primary care veterinarian has an important job.
Among other things, your primary care veterinarian is responsible for integrating the plans and recommendations of one or more veterinary specialists into your pet’s overall care plan; and it isn’t always easy. It’s just plain impossible though, when your veterinarian isn’t getting any information from a specialist.
Veterinary Nutrition Care prioritizes building relationships with veterinarians and supporting them in their mission to provide the best care possible to their patients. This means that every effort will be made to make sure that your vet knows the latest about your pet’s nutrition plan; they’ll receive a detailed written summary of the visit, as well as brief updates on follow-up.
Veterinarians are welcome to contact Veterinary Nutrition Care if they have questions about how your pet's nutrition affects other aspects of his/her care.
